Sure, NVR can help you streamline all of your office sending and save on mailing and shipping costs with USPS®, FedEx® and UPS®. More importantly – let’s be sure to get your mailing technology compliant with new USPS IMI (Intelligent Mail Indicia) requirements coming in 2024.
What is IMI?
The intelligent mailing indicia is the next generation of metered indicia technology, designed to ensure all your metered mail meets the current USPS compliance guidelines. It provides the highest standard of integrity and security to ensure information is securely transmitted to and from postage evidencing systems (PES). It captures real-time data with current postage, down to Service Class and special fees, making mail flow more efficiently.
Why the Change?
The new IMI standard will provide more detailed real-time transaction data, enabling the USPS to automate operations, employ better security standards and ensure correct postage is used. Non-IMI compliant meters will be decertified June 30, 2024 and removed from service December 31, 2024.
